Meet The Circles Team
After University and some traveling I became an outdoor assistant at a large private estate. I have always been happiest outside, so I loved working out in the countryside. Although, after a year I began to feel a little unfulfilled - there were only so many leaves I could clear and bird poops I could clean off garden furniture before feeling stir-crazy. I liked the idea of doing a PGCE to become a high-school teacher, but I had to wait for 8 months before being enrolled. I saw a position for a forest-school was open and applied, thinking it would be a good job to have while I waited. After a few weeks at Circles, I knew I would not take the PCGE. I loved the concept of an outdoor school, centered around the individual and having fun as opposed to a rigid structure for everyone. I am sad I did not get to attend a school like Circles when I was younger but I am happy to be a part of one now.
