I initially studied Religious Studies at university and was set on joining the Royal Navy as an Officer. However, I quickly realised that wasn’t the right path for me after I helped my sister at her workplace, supporting vulnerable adults. That experience made me realise my true calling, and I began my career as a Support Worker, assisting both young and older adults with learning disabilities. I found great fulfilment in this role, but after working nonstop through the lockdown, I decided to take a brief break. I only lasted 18 months before I felt a strong urge to get back into helping others. Now, here I am at Circles, thoroughly enjoying the opportunity to work with young people.
