After training as a beauty therapist & florist, a career I loved for over twenty years, I discovered my love for mentoring while helping a friend in a school. Since then, I’ve worked in alternative education, supporting students to grow in confidence and discover their strengths.

I struggled in school and wasn’t diagnosed with dyslexia until I was ten, which made learning feel like an uphill battle. Those challenges gave me a deep empathy for young people who find education difficult and inspired my passion for alternative learning.

Joining Circles as a Hair and Beauty Mentor felt like the perfect fit , combining my skills, creativity, and belief that every young person deserves the space to learn in their own way.

 Circles to me is a place where every brain is valued with creativity, courage and perspective. I enjoy getting to know each one of circles’ students and staff members, hearing their stories and learning from them. They inspire me every day.
