My background is in property development where my hands on approach gave me a good foundation in trade skills, such as carpentry, electrics and plumbing. After this I mainly worked as a CCTV engineer for a friend’s company but found this gave me little job satisfaction, especially as I usually worked jobs on my own.

I therefore decided it was time to try something new and serendipitously I found Circles, as it offered a chance to use my practical skills and love of the outdoors along with the opportunity to help others. I have always found engaging with young people fascinating and the opportunity to mentor and encourage them, and above all give them a sense of self-belief, is a profound source of happiness for me.
