Growing up in rural locations and benefiting from an outdoor lifestyle set my future as a tree surgeon and being in various management and consultancy roles.

I additionally trained as a Bushcraft instructor, Ethnobotanist and in Mammal track and sign to further enhance my passion of the outdoor life.

 I particularly enjoy volunteering with youth groups, having taken many young people on residentials mountain climbing to develop their resilience and personal growth. 

My true passion is in teaching and passing skills on, with many years' experience of teaching and training from the military to youth groups. Having such a diverse experience of teaching people from all walks of life has given me the chance to develop my skills and commitment in supporting others to succeed.
