My career began with volunteering for an inner-city kids charity, where I quickly learned that organizing residential trips for kids is like juggling fire, entertaining, a bit chaotic, but ultimately rewarding. After university, I dabbled in IT, thinking I had found my "serious" job. Turns out, staring at a screen for hours on end didn’t quite light the fire I was looking for. So, I switched gears and became an Internal Exclusion Manager in mainstream education. It was great to work with young people again, but let’s just say I had a harder time sitting still than the kids!
