Students in Circles Study work with tutors, towards English, Maths & ICT at a variety of levels.

At Circles Study we strive to deliver tailored learning, we devise an individual learning plan for each learner that enrols on our program. Circles study offer Edexcel Functional Skills Entry Level 1 -3 and Level 1-2 English and Maths. We also promote other qualifications such as Food Safety and Hygiene Certificate Level 2 and European Computer Driving License Level 2 to learners who are committed to their learning and want to achieve. During the academic year we cover Reading, Writing, Speaking, Listening, Communication, Mental Mathematics and Mathematics with use of a calculator at differentiated levels to meet the needs of our learners. We are a committed team that will endeavor learners to achieve their full potential to go onto further education, employment and training. We offer employability skills where pupils set up email accounts, complete CV's, learn to attach CV's to emails/ apprenticeship websites as well as learn practical skills such as interview techniques for the workplace. We encourage learners to explore their career opportunity's by liaising with other colleges and army education. Applications of interests are processed to ensure that learners have post 16 plans. Circles Study have devised a scheme of work which includes the learners voice; entailing taster sessions for wider learning. The scheme of work includes projects such as war, sociology, psychology, media, current affairs, SMSC, First aid, fire awareness and many more projects tailored to individual learners interests and needs. We concentrate on the social and emotional aspects of our learners. By doing this, it enables learners to gain qualities to support their academic progress. Social elements include the close friendships learners make within the Circles establishment, the exhibit of appropriate effective communication and behaviour towards others. Emotional elements include therapeutic interventions, pastoral support, communication with parents and careers, confidence building and allowing learners to build positive rapports where they feel safe, with staff and peers. We encourage learners to improve their standard of work and attendance levels with incentives such as positive phone calls home.
